My Maternity Program

I want to share this experience in English just because I want to share this story not only for Indonesian but to the world.

I married in 2017- 17 February. At that time I was very selfish and I thought not to have baby too soon. I still want to having "couple" time with my husband, who was not in the same thought with me. We argued a lot about having a child and it's my problem who didn't really care about myself at that time. I barely see doctor to see my condition.

In March 2017 I had Myoma sized 5 cm inside my belly. I was very shock. My doctor was dr. Airul Chakra, Sp. OG, K. Fer. He is a very talented doctor in Palembang and he is still young. Then, I took an hysteroscopy procedure to take the myoma in Siloam Hospital in Palembang. The cost was around 40 million rupiah.  I went to see dr, Chakra for only two months after my first operation. He gave me medicine like femara (it's the one I only remember). Then, my parents in law then gave us recommendation to a doctor who is more senior than dr. Chakra.

Since then, we cannot continue with dr. Chakra anymore at that time because of the money. Then, we see one doctor recommended by my parents in law. The doctor's name is dr. Heriyadi Manan, Sp. OG, K., (MARS). He is a lecturer in Medical Faculty in Sriwijaya University. The docter was very nice and have a simple procedure. He used USG non transvaginal and give some medicines like progynova, folavit, and vitamins. We went to that doctor for almost 8 months until the doctor said that he couldn't do it anymore and we were moved to his pupil, dr. Awan Nurtjahyo, Sp. OG, K.Fer.

The doctor was very nice. This is the first time I agree with my husband about the doctor whose very friendly and straight to the point (I means the procedure that he took was step by step and in the good direction). With that doctor, I took my first insemination process. It was in dr. Chakra's clinic.

First, in my second day menstruation, He gave me some stimulations from medicine and injection within 12 days until my eggs is ready. The doctor, then, did the procedure. The insemination took only around 10 minutes but the process was very long. I have to drink a lot of water and hold my pee until it's hurt. After the procedure, I have to wait and lie down on the operation mat for 15 minutes. The doctor had left the room and there was only my husband and me. After 15 minutes, I could go to the rest room and pee. It was hurt so much to pee after the procedure. But the nurse says it was OK and normal. After that. The nurse gave some medicine and injection to strengthen my womb. If I am not mistaken there were some medicine from vagina also called Cygest. We had to do it every night.

The first attempt was not successful. We did the second attempt with the same doctor. The procedure and the medicine was almost the same. We have to start the program from the second day of menstruation.

The second attempt was not successful. Then, dr. Awan recommended us to move to another doctor, which is also a senior in Sriwijaya University. His name is dr. Yusuf Effendi, Sp. OG, K. The doctor was also nice and straight to the point. He told us that I've got PCOS and he use normal procedure at the beginning because he believe that we can make it with normal procedure. But the dozes of the medicine increase. He also gave me some injections and oral medicine. For two months experiment
